I began teaching and tutoring underclassmen in theory, piano and voice while also teaching dance classes in the community. After I graduated I continued teaching and gained an assistantship to continue voice lessons to undergraduate non-majors. I also was the assistant director for our musical theater revue. My lessons are designed from day 1 to include Music Theory because I believe that theory of a subject is very important in comprehension of reading a musical piece and recognizing all the signs, symbols, terms etc in the music while learning to read and play it on the instrument.
