I have studied classical piano for 10+ years with the Field Studio, Myra K Garvette, and the Westport School of Music, as well as at Fairfield University. I also have chamber music ensemble experience, having gone to CAM Camp and working with piano trio and quartet ensembles under Millette Alexander. Then, after some time I decided to join the YMCA Music Department in Manila, Philippines. Since then, I have regularly taught students at home and at the YMCA studio. I began teaching private lessons back in undergrad. I found that I really enjoy getting to know someone one-on-one, and I think I'm particularly effective at figuring out how to communicate knowledge, create art and inspire on that level! The experience of my students has run the gamut; I've taught 5-year old and 65-year old beginners, I've taught students who already have an undergrad degree in music.
