Instruments: Flute Piccolo

I have been playing flute for 16 years. I love sharing my knowledge to those who want to become a better musician. I received my Associates of the Arts degree in 2017 and continuing to double major in Flute performance and Music Therapy. I have had the opportunity to participate in great orchestras such as Broward Symphony Orchestra and New World School of the Arts Orchestra. I have a passion for sharing my knowledge of music to the world and performing for an audience that appreciate the beautiful tone of the flute. Read More

Every student requires a uniquely tailored teaching style, but also they possess a unique set of strengths and "weaknesses" that will be addressed. I do not believe in the "cookie-cutter" approach to teaching. I believe that fundamentals (scales, tuning exercises, lip slurs, technical excecises) are important as these are the key to unlocking the instrument as a means of self-expression, by eliminitating the infamilarity and oddness of the trombone. That being said, I believe that technique should be approached in the most musical way possible, and I strive to teach technique through actual music.  My teachers, as were most successful brass players, were influenced by the legendary tubist of the Chicago Symphony, Arnold Jacobs. My style is open minded. I first try to know the students' goals and prepare a course of action accordingly. Then I try to know how much the students already knows and how much talent they have. That allows me to determine how fast I may go with them or how much I must drill and develop a particular skill before going on. Sometimes if I assess the student is jammed or stressed I deem it necessary to digress a bit into music history , philosophy and other fields related to music that work as a refreshing background and point of rebound to the skill part of the lesson while increase the scholarly knowledge of the student. Throughout the years, music had undeniably been my source of motivation for everyday life and has taught me skills such as determination and patience that I have been able to apply to every aspect of daily life. Music has helped broaden my horizens and my goal is to take that which I've learned from my music and give that to my students. I attended Miami-Dade College for Music and Music Education with a primary in guitar, and am currently continuing my studies at the Art Institute for Audio Production. Read More

Instruments: Piano Voice

I aim to make each lesson special, tailoring it to what each student needs. It's not just about learning the technical stuff; it's about helping them love music, understand it, and enjoy expressing themselves through it. Teaching, for me, isn't just about lessons. It's like being a guide on a journey. I'm there to help students discover their potential, navigate the ups and downs of making music, and, most importantly, to make sure they enjoy every step of the way. Read More
