After graduating high school I relocated to the Austin, Texas area. I have performed as a section violinist with Round Rock Symphony, Victoria Symphony, Temple Symphony, Laredo Philharmonic, Austin Civic Orchestra, and Gilbert and Sullivan Austin. From 2014 to 2015, I was a violinist of the Modus Novus String Quartet, a new music ensemble formed with graduates of the Berklee College of Music. While teaching, I aim to coordinate between two things. The first is to focus on the theoratical aspect of music to give the student the required basics regarding how to read musical notes. I also give the practice through Practical exercises to develope felxibility within the student while he or she is playing the instrument. I received my Bachelor of Music in Choral Music Education in 2020, but have been performing since I was 11 years old. I am now a choir director in the Downriver area. I have experience with all populations and ages, allowing me to share the gift of music with anyone and everyone! I taught elementary school for a full year and now work with middle school aged students. While this is my first experience working one-on-one with students, I am teaching over 100 students each day in my choir program to be the best musicians they can be! Read More
