I'm originally from Venezuela and I moved to the USA to continue my music studies at Louisiana State University where I got my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Cello Performance. I have been teaching cello both in Venezuela and in the United States. I currently work as a cello teacher at Palacios House of Arts, in Baton Rouge. I believe that if the student is capable of reading and learning the repertoire quickly, he or she will become much more motivated and the act of practicing will be something pleasant. I like my students to fell they practice because they like to, and not only because they have to.
