I have been the recipient of several scholarships and positions that demonstrate my academic and performance distinction. My methods adapt to each student, their age and their level. The books I use go from the Suzuki books to the traditional Fouillard, Popper or Sebastian Lee methods. The repertoire would also depend on the student needs and the type of music he/she wants to learn. The age of the student is not relevant to me. For beginning students I focus on easily accessible music theory to tackle several key musical ideas at once; notes on the instrument, key signatures and scales, and the ability to read musical pitches and rhythms in music notation.
