Instruments: Piano Voice
I have loved singing since I could first talk! I grew up singing in choirs, shows, and church. When I attended the Governor's School for the Arts in Norfolk, VA for high school, I realized that music and singing would be my career path for life. There, I was classically trained and learned to sing opera. I went on to complete my Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in voice. I am excited to have moved to Chicago with my husband, Sean. Once the student feels more comfortable with their voice, I would suggest an introductory repertoire (usually an Art Song) according to their age, level, voice type, and their personality. Read More

When I was in college, I was offered a temporary teaching position to teach piano at Allegro Music Academy (Lemont, IL) and I was able to work with children of all ages and playing levels. I realized that I really enjoyed working with children and from that point on, I sought out to teach mainly children. Read More
