I believe in a very strong fundamental background and have created a set of exercises geared to maximize effectiveness, and guarantee progress. I always focus on proper and healthy singing technique, therefore, for every student, I start with physical and vocal warm up in order to develop fundamental skills of breathing and support. Then I move on to songs or arias (classical or pop), adjusting good vowels and body tensions to improve resonance and efficiency in singing. In my lessons, I work hard to create a routine that best fits the students needs. This typically means that many of my students are not following a specific lesson plan or standard routine. Starting out, I stress fundamentals and warm-ups to help the students create a solid grasp of the instrument, before making the move towards solo repertoire. Of course, the older and more experience the student is will influence the difficulty of the routine, however, I always make sure that goals that I have set for a student are within reach. Read More

My teaching style is fun and goal oriented. I like to meet my students where they are and grow from there. I spend a lot of our first sessions asking questions and learning about what makes them excited about music, who they love to listen to, who they love to sing, and go from there.
