As drum instructor, I taught beats, fills, song structure, technique, and kit-setup, to a group between the ages of 7 and 14 in the summer of 2016 with the "Girls Rock Camp Houston", a non-profit organization. I volunteered to an additional guidance position as a "Band Coach" in 2016 to a group of young teen students. I don't not use practice/lesson books. Unless the student wants to use it , I don't insist. I approach each student differently . I take it at their speed. I have been a music instructor since 1979. I teach the piano, spinet organ and keyboards. I also have a passion in MIDI computer music. I love seeing students excel and be given the opportunity to do well in their skill set.
