I graduated with High Honors from CU-Boulder in Jazz Performance, though I love playing all styles from Pop to Classical to Avant-Garde and Electroacoustic music. After this initial evaluation, I develop a personalized plan which addresses healthy vocal production and practice techniques which address the needs of the student. My teaching style is instill the love of music in students. I do want my students to grow up and still playing piano because they love to play, not because their parents forced them to play. I want them love piano from the bottom of their hearts. In order to achieve that, I adjust the material according to the student's progresses. I do not mind skipping levels if the student has demonstrated previous knowledge or skills to go to a more advanced level. Read More

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students get really excited about reaching their goals. I consistently encourage students by giving them positive feedback about the progress they are making. I also help them push themselves to become better singers by being an inspiration and a mentor for them throughout their journey. I do feel that music is a journey, not a destination. I inspire my students to develop an appreciation for music that lasts their entire lives, and so my instruction is tailored to the individual no matter where they are on their journey. Read More
