I am a graduate of Texas Tech University. I began teaching privately in 1985 on the Lubbock ISD Music Tutorial Program. I went into the schools and taught students privately during class hours. I taught Tuba and Baritone Horn. In 1989 I began teaching with Lubbock Parks and Recreation in the community centers. This was more generalized. I taught Band Instruments, Voice, Guitar, Music Theory, Beginner Piano, Beginner Strings. I have been a professional musician for over 20 years playing with various groups including the U.S. Marine Band in Hawaii, and various cruise ships for Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, and Princess Cruises. I have also performed with recording artists such as Ben Vereen, Charro, Regis Philbin and the group Kansas, to name a few. I have been playing saxophone for more than 20 years. I was awarded multiple scholarships at South Plains College to play in their Symphonic and Jazz Bands. I have many years of experience playing at in my church choir as well. As a result of which I have played professionally at numerous weddings and other similar events.
