Music has been the greatest blessing of my life, and to share this art and craft with students is one of the most fulfilling aspects of that. I have a Bachelors and Masters degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. I have performed in venues as small as tents in Mendocino and Bear Valley, and as large as the Davies Symphony Hall and the War Memorial Opera House. I am a firm believer in a solid foundation, and the majority of each lesson will be spent teaching how to correctly play the clarinet. I would first begin with scales and just focus on getting the correct hand placements. After maybe one or two lessons with focusing on scales, we will then begin with Suzuki books. These books are great for getting the kids more familiar with music and also put their scale practicing to the test. Of course, the scales will still be continued however as the student progresses, we will focus less on scales and put our attention more on various classical music pieces. Read More

I began teaching bass guitar and double bass in 2006 privately from my studio and in music schools and academies.
