I believe that music is a gift that is meant to be shared, whether it is with family and friends, or with those in need. I was a founding member and director of an outreach ensemble based in Baltimore that focused on sharing love through music in the greater Baltimore area with parts of the community who are in need, including performances at women's shelters, homeless veterans' shelters, hospitals, prisons, soup kitchens and drug addiction recovery homes. Arias is both an avid performer and educator of the trumpet and piano. She is currently a member of the Brass Band of Appalachia based out of Bristol, VA and an active freelance musician in the Pittsburgh area. She recently performed at the William Adam International Trumpet Festival; the International Trumpet Guild Conference; and was featured as a soloist with the Appalachian State University Concert Band. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs. Read More

I’m enthusiastic about teaching children all aspects of music, including music history and appreciation, movement, and theory. I hope to help students develop listening and sight singing skills, as well as improving their technique. My teaching style is focused and active. I appeal to students’ learning modalities by varying my approach; visual demonstrations, listening activities, dancing, and drawing combine to enhance student understanding. Students are encouraged to join ensembles and seek performance venues. Read More

I am a recently graduated college student from California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors of Science in Commercial Music & Technology. I have been a drummer for about 14 years now gaining experience from 3 different teachers as well as self teachings. When I went to college I found myself surrounded by other great, talented musicians with the same passion I have for music. From there I have started many musical projects, with the current and most successful one being my band, Haven State. Read More
