If I was a football coach we would run through a play several times till the player felt comfortable with the play and understood how to execute it. I believe that weekly lessons are the most beneficial for a students learning and productivity. Together we will create a custom lesson plan including things like scales, etudes, solos, excerpts, and covers. I like to direct students to play scales and etudes with drones that can be found online or from an app. and can offer many more helpful practice techniques. I can teach classical bass, piano, and cello, as well as pop/rock bass, piano, cello, or vocal performance. I've found that my students have a much higher level of success when they are encouraged to practice regularly at home.
