We toured much of the east coast and Europe. When I left the Marine Corps I put together a band that toured around the southeast. We even got invited to play the halftime show of the Hula Bowl college football game in Honolulu, Hawaii. My studies have focused on liturgical church music though my pentecostal church background has helped combine spirit with tradition. I am a passionate and devoted piano teacher with a real love of music and a strong desire to pass my knowledge onto others. I took seven years of piano lessons in grade school and graduated from Florida State College with an Associate of Arts in Music degree. I also played piano in the Charlton County High School Jazz Ensemble and at the United Methodist Church. For my beginner students, who are younger, I start off with the Faber series in the Primer levels. After progressing through the first few levels of the series, I then start to introduce solo repertoire depending on the interests of the student. For my older students, we also go through the Faber Adult Piano Adventures book, where we learn the basics of piano along with some fun pieces.
