This gives them a firm foundation, so when we move on, we are not forced to go back to the beginning. I believe the key to being an advanced drummer is the concept of foot-hand independence. When I teach I don't simply have a One-Size-Fits-All approach. Every guitarist is different, with what they're good at, what they need to improve on, their likes, and their dislikes. I started playing the flute before 6th grade and instantly fell in love with the flute and with music. Inspired by the wonderful music teachers I had over the years, I strive to provide that same level of care, knowledge, fun, and passion for music to all of my students.
