I have a variety of methods that I use to teach students.  I have used many Hal Leonard's band and guitar books, I use a wide variety of materials so that the students can achieve their goals. There is always new material coming out and I will also write my own technical exercises if the student needs them. I wont be asking a student to, all of the sudden, begin some vigorous practice routine of 20 hours a week. But I will be working with them to establish a routine that will work in their favor as a musician. I like to let students come to their own conclusions about things I like to just show a student the way.
