I started first by teaching kindermusik for babies and toddlers in a neighborhood church location and a music studio in the Copperfield area, then I opened my home studio in 2004 by offering group keyboarding lessons for many young beginners. My way of working the voice in particular is a combination of yoga breathing techniques, the Alexander singing method and the Stanilavsky method of acting. This to achieve a better awareness of the vibration and awareness of the vocal instrument. As for the guitar, I also combine typing exercises and coordination of the classical school and then move on to the area of chord and harmony construction a little more related to the jazz and contemporary music school.My students enjoy progressively knowing and discovering the possibilities of their instrument and then go looking for their pop sound and their own forms of expressiveness, leaving me as an advisor or coach in the musical forms that they wish to explore and enjoy. I always give positive feedback on any execution before talking about things we can improve on. I do this to let them know that they are doing well, but we can always strive to get better. I always ask "how does that feel" and "do you understand"? I do this because singing should never hurt. If it hurts then its wrong and we need to correct it. I ask the second question, again, to make sure there are no communication barriers and to make sure I am explaining things in a way that they understand. Read More

During that time, the children will occasionally play anything they wish to play that is interesting or fun to them.
