I am a singer and songwriter who is lucky to work in the field that she loves and can't wait to help you do what you love as well. I was classically trained at Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts, majoring in musical theatre. I also work as a recording artist and songwriter for a licensing company, writing pop music for TV and commercials. I also try to gauge what motivates and excites them, which allows me to better help them grow and develop in desired areas. For students who are children I like to start to start learning rhythms through common children’s songs to show how easy music can be. Depending on the instrument, one of the many Hal Leonard books is always a good option. If they are a little older, I will use music that they like to teach how music theory and fundamental skills makes up all the musi they enjoy.
