I am passionate about music and enjoy sharing that passion with others. In 2018, I graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy and minor in Psychology. I am currently a full time music therapist at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center, Main Campus. I love working as a music therapist, but I also enjoy teaching music lessons. I began giving guitar lessons around the age of 15. I was eventually hired as an instructor at GuitarWorks in Greenwood, Indiana where my teaching experience blossomed. I was able to work with five year olds to fifty year olds of all skill levels and musical interests. This greatly broadened my approach for each individual student to tailor my lessons according to their interests and goals. I have played in almost any kind of musical situation and style over the years from orchestras to jazz bands to solo guitar, etc. Many of my students have gone on to get accepted into universities and get scholarships. I teach students with different music levels, backboards, and ages. I try my best to start with what my student can do then extend within student's own context, so each of my students is very unique and special for me.
