I received my Suzuki Teacher Certification for Violin books 1-6 in 2018. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Violin Performance in May of 2016. Music, at its most basic, should be fun, and I try to impart that to my students. Lessons with me involve jokes, fun music, and taking our music making to the extreme. In addition, I strive to teach music as a language; learning it both aurally and visually, developing an ear for music and self-evaluation while learning to read the notes on the page. I am a violinist with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. I teach a mixture of Traditonal and Suzuki. I offer a strong studio environment and love to help students reach their goals. I believe it is important for students to set weekly goals as well as long term goals that they can achieve. I find that when you set goals that are achievable it helps motivate you to get better.
