Instruments: Piano
As a teacher my goal is to push the students toward their best potential, guide them along the way, and make sure they have a full grasp of note reading, rhythm, expression, technique, and dynamics. And since I only see them once a week, the real work takes place at home with the parents, so for the younger players I teach them but also teach their parents how to push and motivate them at home. Instruments: Piano
My teaching experience began when I was a freshman in college, and has converted to a full time position a few months after graduation. I also compose soundtracks and art mediums for local artists in Denver, Colorado, and have been fervently composing new forms of artistic expression inspired off teaching new students in Colorado. Instruments: Drums
I love drumming, and love teaching it! I teach from my own written material inspired by my music experience at school and the lessons I've been taught over the years. I have written hundreds of pages of exercises from which to pull for virtually every difficulty and style. I have played literally thousands of original and cover songs with many bands. I can play and teach the drum parts to virtually any song simply by hearing it, and I've heard more music than the average musician. Read More

Once a solid foundation has been created, we will dive into learning some contemporary music and use favorite songs for analysis. Read More

During that time, I had the very great privilege to teach students of all ages ranging from 6 years to active seniors. In addition to guitar, I teach beginning piano. I also enjoy coordinating jam sessions for the students. Read More
Instruments: Saxophone Flute Clarinet
I began teaching privately in 2009 in Austin, TX. There I grew a full studio of saxophonists and clarinetists. In addition to private teaching, I coached several chamber music ensembles at various schools throughout the city. I moved to Colorado to study education at CU Boulder. There I had the privilege of working with such educators as Dr. Margaret Berg, Dr. David Rickels, and Professor Tom Myer. As well, I received my Suzuki certification in flute from Dr. Read More
Instruments: Piano
The Suzuki Method is particularly effective with children aged three to seven. A young childs aural capabilities are greatest in the early years of life, and therefore a method which relies heavily on aural stimulation is most suitable. Three and four year old children do not yet have the mental capacities to read music from a page, but are able to learn to play very well by rote. The pupil will learn to read music after their playing abilities are well established. Read More
