 I have been teaching in the Columbus area for 14 years.  I have studied piano and voice for 30 years performing and had experience auditioning for and performing in musical theater, opera, and contemporary settings. After earning my degree from otterbein, I have maintained a studio of 25-30 students in the westerville/New Albany area.  I currently reside with my husband and three children, three dogs, and a cat in New Albany where we run one location of my studios. My voice students ranged from young beginning singers just learning the basics of singing to seniors in undergrad preparing large roles. I earned a bachelors degree in music composition and studied classical guitar in college. I taught private lessons off and on for several years before beginning teaching at a Music Studio in Columbus, Ohio. While there, I taught many guitar and ukulele lessons, and even started a ukulele club. While I was working at the studio teaching lessons at night, I was working on a masters degree in education.
