I feel so lucky to have performed for some of the greatest singers of our time: Rene Elise Goldsberry (Broadway), Jennifer Rowley (Metropolitan Opera), Kristine Opolais (Met), Ailyn Perz (Met), and Lisette Oropesa (Met). I have also performed in venues and companies all over the world: Thailand, Hawaii, Italy, and Austria. For beginning and intermediate students, I offer my own rudiment book to start learning on a practice pad or snare drum. For learning drum set, I use a variety of books and resources. I will meet and discuss these options with each student to find the right book for them. For more advanced students, I have them transcribe entire songs from bands they enjoy. I completed Grade 6 in ABRSM examination before coming to the United States for my Bachelor degree in Psychology. I had 3 years of piano performance experience when I was in a choir team and those were the most amazing times I have ever had. I joined a choir named Synctone Choir in 2009 and I have gone through vocal training for 3 years. There we had competitions and events like Acapella festivals. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my student develop on the flute. It is a beautiful instrument and can have such style in all types of music. It is important that each student flourishes at their comfort to want to go forward and learn more. I have been teaching privately for the past 7 years and absolutely love it! I love helping my students achieve their goals weather that be concrete or abstract! I've been teaching classes and lessons at the university level for the past two years as well.
