In college, I gave voice lessons to fellow students regularly and lead many rehearsals and after school music camps for elementary and middle school aged students. While student teaching, I had the opportunity to lead 5 different choirs, lead 8 different levels of music education and give after school tutoring to students. I use many different methods since I am of the opinion that all methods have their strengths and their weaknesses.  For children I typically use the Suzuki method and suplement with exercises and outside repertoire to compensate for the weaknesses in the Suzuki method.  I also use the Royal Conservatory method and try to teach its repertoire when the student is at an advance- beginner or intermediate level.
