I began teaching drum lessons part time when I was a sophomore in college. I taught a diverse group of students of all ages and with different skill levels out of a small musical instrument store. I also taught percussion to groups of middle and high school students helping them prepare for concerts and district solo and ensemble competitions. For 2 years starting in 2017, I worked as a graduate voice assistant at the University of Minnesota where I taught vocal methods in a classroom environment, as well as private lessons to a studio of 18+ students. Additional solo repertoire might include Faber books on Jazz and Blues or Musical Theatre or Classics for children. Adults may start with Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course. I tend to custom the lesson plans related to the students interests too .
