I have been playing in original and cover bands for 30 years and I currently perform as a guitarist, keyboardist, and vocalist in a cover band that I founded in 1999. My band has appeared on VH-1 and we have had the opportunity to play up and down the East Coast. As a volunteer, I perform as an acoustic guitarist in a church music group every Sunday. I have been an band and orchestra director for several decades and was director of  the brooklyn college big band for 4 years as a grad student.I am quite familiar with concert band,  jazz orchestra & symphonic as well as pop music repertoire .  I have a background of 8 years in percussion ensembles as well as having studied afro cuban, caribbean and indian music.
