I have experience teaching music all over the world. I have travelled to Canada, Russia, and Swaziland to work with children. I have taught guitar, voice, and general music lessons to those children. For students who are children I start with methods such as Hal Leonard to accommodate for their smaller hands. After the student is comfortable with the guitar we will move on to more challenging solo pieces and branch off into which genre they are interested in. For teenage and adult students I begin teaching the basic fundamentals for the guitar and move on to what ever genre the student wishes to learn. Read More

I have been teaching for over 8 years and I have experience teaching in different settings, group classes, and one-on-one private lessons. I am a certified Suzuki violin teacher by the Suzuki Association of the Americas. I have experience working with children starting at 3 years old, teenagers, and adult people. As for my educational pedigree, I was graduated cum laude from Boston's Berklee College of Music (1979); earned a Master's Degree in Music Theory from Duquesne University (1987); and was engaged in post-graduate studies in Music Theory at the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music (1987-90).
