Once a student has completed this, I begin to offer materials that are more specific to the musical genre that they have stated interest in. I maintain the pace of the students and I will make sure that they're learning at a comfortable rate. Usually I'll make sure that the goal for the lesson is obtainable and we can achieve. For classical guitar students I use Aaron Shearer's Learning the Classic Guitar Volume 2.
