After completing my Bachelor's Degree at the University of Kansas, I moved to Chicago to pursue my Master's degree and studied with renowned flutist Dionne Jackson. While completing my Master's degree, I was able to study and learn from musicians of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Lyric Opera of Chicago. I then assume the role of a guide whenever possible, rather than an authoritarian figure, so that sudents can discover concepts for themselves vs. having the information given to them.
