My teaching methods are tailored to each student's indidvidual needs and expectaions for the duration of lessons. I don't have a specific method book set, for I use multiple sources thoughout the teaching experience. Most of my students are middle and high school students. I like to start beginning students with the Rubank Elementary series of books. Along with the Rubank books, I like to also focus on music being covered in school, if applicable. For more advanced students, I focus on the mastery of scales, technique, intonation, and sound production. I like to use the Andersen etude series, but this will vary from student to student. At the age of 9 I was introduced to music and this has allowed me to have a passion for what I love. I enjoy working with students to help them further their dream and walk in their purpose through music. In 2010, I graduated from the University of Arkansas At Pine Bluff with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Performance.
