I make myself available via email and phone, always doing everything I can to continue the students' engagement outside of their lesson. I start of my lessons by asking how much the student practiced for the week. Then I ask them if there was anything that was confusing for them so we can work on that first. I let the student pick what they want to start with first and then I will pick the next exercise. The basic structure of the lesson is review/present the new concept, apply it and at the end of the lesson discuss the new given homework for the following lesson. I will go to the student pace.
