I like to also focus a lot on the exhale of air into the instrument, and the relationship to blowing air through technical passages. I began teaching music when I was 18, I began teaching private drums and piano lessons in my home studio, I've been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 7 years. Upon graduation, I got my first music teacher position at Rishon Lezion conservatory, I taught private saxophone, flute, drums, and piano lessons as well as group music theory lessons and directed students ensembles. There are two basic method books for beginners, and comprehensive, themed books for advanced players that focus on Tone, Technique, Articulation, Intonation, Vibrato, Breathing, and Scales. My teaching style allows the child to have fun while they learn their instrument, but I emphasize a strong practice regiment. Your child will understand that while learning music and an instrument can be fun, there will be some work involved if they want to become great.
