The first lesson is focused on my assessment of a students skills, interests, and learning styles. From there I will determine the most useful resources for each student. I will work with the method book that is being used in a student's school, in addition to method books designed for individual skill development such as the Rubank Method Books or Suzuki Method for string instruments. My lessons are not built for me to tell the student what to do, but rather learn how they learn and research the best practices for reaching that student.
