I heavily focus on tone and fundamentals, so applying it to the music comes seamlessly. For tone, I like both Phillip Bernold books, on embouchure and sound. Sonorite by Moyse as well. After completing my Bachelor's Degree at the University of Kansas, I moved to Chicago to pursue my Master's degree and studied with renowned flutist Dionne Jackson. While completing my Master's degree, I was able to study and learn from musicians of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Anthony Rodriguez is a Chicago-based woodwind doubler who is proficient in flute, oboe, saxophone and clarinet. He studied these instruments while attaining his Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Brooklyn College under the esteemed Bernard Goldberg (Flute), Bob Ingliss (Oboe), and Paul Cohen (Saxophone).
