I am an active, professional flautist, having earned a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Flute Performance. I was lucky to have had a rich experience in my life, to have worked with and taught a diverse group of people all over the world. First, I taught and performed in Europe, where I come from, and later in Africa including Zambia and Uganda. Read More

My methods are different for every student, but I always start with fundamentals. This includes scales, exercises to improve sound and intonation, reading, writing, improvisation, and most importantly listening. Finally, with middle and above levels; solos, ensemble work, duets, and additional etude books will be used. Read More

There are several method books I prefer for different reasons, so I will do my best after some discussion to find an appropriate fit for the student.  If there is an adult learner looking to start, I'd do the same. My private teaching experience dates back to my late high school years and after I graduated from college I began to teach professionally and I also include a wider range of instrumentations.
