I have been teaching students of all ages since 2010. I have been teaching both in my home studio and at the students home, I have also taught in Public Schools and in Music stores. My goal as a teacher is to get students excited about music and have them looking forward to our lessons together and inspire them to learn more and practice. Once they begin to learn the basics and and can grasp the fundamentals, I can begin to introduce solo pieces. For adults, I try to learn about what level the student is and what their interests are so that I can cater my lessons accordingly. I began teaching private flute lessons when I was in high school to younger students in the Amityville school district, Amityville, NY. Once I began student teaching on Long Island, I began building a small studio of flute students. I then moved to NYC where I taught in the NYC public school system for 9 years teaching 6-12 grade.
