However, I will typically move students through the method book quickly and get right into performance repertoire that is appropriate for their age and level. Once they begin to learn the basics and and can grasp the fundamentals, I can begin to introduce solo pieces. For adults, I try to learn about what level the student is and what their interests are so that I can cater my lessons accordingly.
