Flute Lessons in Crum Lynne, PA

Instruments: Flute Piccolo

Each lesson is tailored towards each individual students pace and modality they will best benefit from. At the end of each year, there will be a final studio recital where each student will get to perform a piece they have worked on during the year to ensure they get a chance to have formal performance experience. From my teaching, I want students to get the most out of the experience of learning the flute while being a facilitator of self-expression and individuality. Read More

As a music teacher, I am passionate about giving people of all ages the tools for self-expression and collaboration. I am a performer, flautist and singer-songwriter based in Philadelphia and I have been an active member of the music community for over a decade. With a background in poetry and creative writing, my compositions combine storytelling and collage, and draw from my roots in folk music and RB. No matter which direction my students go, I always try to make sure they're having fun with the music and being able to play their instrument. I began playing piano for church choirs in my hometown. Furthermore, I am from the school of thought of concentrated practice. I help students identify the length of time they can concentrate without exhausting their attention. I always want students to have in mind the goals they want to accomplish in taking lessons such as recitals, competitions, showcasing and/or enrichment. Read More
