I am extremely dedicated to my students. Understanding how exciting it is to play with accompaniment, I have played piano for multiple student recitals in order for them to learn collaborative skills as well. The piano is also a great way to teach harmony, music theory and improvisation because of its a visual and kinaesthetic elements. For all my students I encourage great posture and hand position when playing flute because it is fundamental to tone production. My goal is to go beyond technique and tap into a well rounded sound that can blend with anyone. I use a touch of music theory in my lessons because I believe it helps students to understand how music functions and improves their sight reading skills.
