For all my students I encourage great posture and hand position when playing flute because it is fundamental to tone production. My goal is to go beyond technique and tap into a well rounded sound that can blend with anyone. I use a touch of music theory in my lessons because I believe it helps students to understand how music functions and improves their sight reading skills.
