I am an extremely passionate musician. I specialize in the drums. I have been playing drums since 1995 and performing on a professional level since 2003. Rock music is my forte, however, I can pretty much play and teach any modern style. I've had international success with my band "Blues".
I began teaching drums back in 2008. I used to only travel to clients. I now have a great home studio set up that I record music and give instructions out of. I enjoy teaching drums and experiencing someone else's progress with my help. It is very gratifying and exciting for me. I enjoy a challenge and always strive to learn new things myself,
I have a personalized lesson plan that I've created. It starts with basic fundamentals, nomenclature, tuning tips, basic beats ets.. and progresses to more intricate beats time signature variations, fills, rhythms, poly-rhythms and more. Where we begin is based on an initial skill assesment. There's always something to learn, even for the best!
I have a very unique teaching style in the sense that it is derived from playing in a professional rock band. I'm very versatile and teach many styles as well. I believe in attaining a level of tightness and professionalism through basic fundamentals. I also believe that the process should be fun and gratifying. I look forward to showing what I have to offer and helping you progress and become the best drummer you can possibly be!
