My philosophy is to teach the student what they want to learn while including basic music theory. I feel it’s important they know what they are doing from the inside out and why. I plan performance opportunities for the students month. This gives each student a tangible goal to work toward. I emphasize that music is another language we can communicate with. Every time we practice we perfect our ability to communicate more fully. Read More

To love music is to love life. To teach music is to give life and to play music is to share life with others. I was fortunate to receive the gift of music at an early age and my passion is to share this gift with others. I will provide a learning environment that is professional and nurturing with the highest artistic standards. Regardless of your level, experience, or goals my mission is to help all of my students achieve success in music for a lifetime. Read More

I have been a working music teacher and professional musician since 2003. My work has taken me all over the world, from exotic, global itineraries on board 5-star cruise ships, to the some of the top music venues in New York City, as well as the homes and classrooms of many satisfied students. I graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music, with a B.M. in Jazz Performance (saxophone). I also hold a Certificate of Eligibility in K-12 Music from the New Jersey Department of Education, as well as a Substitute Teaching Certificate (specializing in music) for Sussex County school districts in New Jersey. We would then move to fulfilling repertoire that would qualify the student for collegiate study and competitive performance. For those interested in jazz, pop, and rock, we would proceed to study several instruction books and recorded material that over the years I have found to successfully progress a student in those genres. I am a young and motivated woodwind instrumentalist. I started playing at very young age and since the very beginning of my career I had the honor of touring with many prestigious woodwind orchestras and to perform all around Europe in venues like the Palau De La Musica in Valencia (Spain), The Music Certament of Kerkrade (Netherlands) and many others. I graduated from Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) where I had the opportunity to study with some of the masters of jazz music as Ed Tomassi, Dave Santoro, Jim Odgren and complete my education in music tecnology and audio engineering. I like to challenge my students to be the best they can be as musicians. For the serious candidates, inspiration is a necessity! On top of lessons they are encouraged to grow by listening to other musicians learning from them. I value the teacher and student relationship. Most of the time I feel out what the client would do well with. (A lot of guidance or a lot of freedom vice versa) I see myself operate more as an accountability coach in my teaching. Read More
