I have been teaching for about 6 years and my students cover a wide range of ages and backgrounds. Everyone comes in with their own goals and I try as best I can to tailor our lesson experience around that. I find that most young students or beginners need to see some form of result to stay engaged so I try and get them moving with sticks on a pad or even learning a basic drum beat within the first two lessons. In 2013, I graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelor's degree in music performance, primarily in Trumpet and Bass Guitar.
