After college, I had the opportunity to teach drums at Southwestern for 2 years as a adjunct faculty member. I then went on to teach at Fort Worth Christian School for 5 years and worked with all their students including their drum line. I've gotten pretty good at figuring out when the students get what I'm trying to teach. If I feel like I'm going to fast I'll stop think about what I'm doing and slow down.
