This is a stage where I will lightly introduce concepts of beat, tempo and rhythm, to help establish a musical vocabulary. I encourage this concept by working to set achievable goals for my students. Also I work to better understand and find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs.
