I am a passionate music teacher with a focus on student success. I graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 2018 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education. I have taught music in one-on-one lessons and classroom settings with many different age students. I have been playing trombone for 15 years and love teaching it to beginners and experienced players. During these years I attended college at California State University Chico, where I earned my Bachelor's degree as an audio engineer. This journey greatly helped me grow as a musician, teacher, leader, and engineer. After a break in my teaching career, fifteen years ago I resumed teaching both private and classroom lessons. My classroom experience includes a public middle school band class along with thirteen years with a private Christian school.
