I develop a relationship with my students and I really enjoy it when I hear that they used a concept I taught them in our music lessons for something beyond music. I started teaching when I was 18, still in high school. I have been taking lessons for 15 years at that point, and felt the need to share my experiences and knowledge with everyone around me. I found a lesson studio that had students for me to teach and since then I have been teaching private lessons, group classes, drum circles and at the professional college level for 12 years. I have played in many bands covering almost every style and am convinced that every good drummer should be able to switch it up and play in any style demanded of them at anytime.
