I love to share what it is that I have spent the majority of my life honing, and working on; in fact I feel that it is my responsibility as a contemporary musician to relay all the good things I have learned on to others within mine and the next generation of musicians. I'm a passionate and motivated instructor and I love working with students and getting them to reach their maximum potential. Growing up, I was influenced by gospel music and played in church at a young age. Later on I gained a lot of marching band experience and training in music theory in the Frederick county Advanced Music Studies program. I have experience playing with many bands around the D.C metro area and have played in a range of small and large venues. Read More

I've also been hired as a bass and guitar instructor and curriculum director by a number of private music schools in and around the Boston area. My lessons focus on creating excitement and enthusiasm for the instrument through playing examples, live playing or "jamming" and encouraging the student to develop a consistent practice schedule.
