When taking on beginner students, I typically use a blend of method books and novice musical pieces to begin to build musicianship. With intermediate musicians, I tend to seek out anything of interet to the student while incorporating harder repertoire to strengthen musicianship and to continue to peek interest in music. I've been passionately involved in music for as long as I can remember. In 2015 I graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a BS in Recording Arts and Music. My passion for the science behind recording and manipulating sound has driven me to experiment on the drum set, and while composing my own music.
