I've been passionately involved in music for as long as I can remember. In 2015 I graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a BS in Recording Arts and Music. My passion for the science behind recording and manipulating sound has driven me to experiment on the drum set, and while composing my own music. I am currently professionally performing with The Electro-Soul group Melody Lines who has amazing opportunities like opening for members of The Disco Biscuits, Pretty Lights, Lotus, String Cheese Incident, Particle, Phil Lesh Band, and Karl Denson's Tiny Universe. I love drumming, and love teaching it! I teach from my own written material inspired by my music experience at school and the lessons I've been taught over the years. I have written hundreds of pages of exercises from which to pull for virtually every difficulty and style. I have played literally thousands of original and cover songs with many bands. Learning exercises in a vacuum can be uninspiring and boring, but turning those exercises into games and allowing students to play along to tracks makes the music come to life!
